Tourism and Hotel Management Program, acquired mid-level management features for tourism businesses, modern knowledge, skills, effective decision making techniques in customer service, marketing and management issues in tourism sector, ability to define the opportunities and challenges brought by the global structure of the tourism sector, accommodation and food and beverage aims to train well-equipped graduates who have knowledge and experience in the management of travel agencies and tour operators, and who can use English as the main language, German, Italian, Russian, Spanish or French as second foreign language who will serve as “Equipped Tourism Professionals”.
The Tourism and Hotel Management Program establishes a complete balance between theory and practice. The program curriculum includes many compulsory and elective courses such as General Tourism, Tourism Geography, Hotel Management, Food and Beverage Services, Housekeeping, Front Office and Automation Services, Travel Agencies and Tour Operators in Tourism, Product Management in Tourism, Destination Management, Tourism Marketing, Guest Communication, Purchasing in Tourism, Tourism Legislation, Tourism Economy, Health Tourism, Cruise Tourism, Meeting and Congress Tourism. Many more diversified courses such as the production, presentation, storage and delivery of the services and products in tourism in accordance with the conditions, environmentally friendly production and service practices are also available.
The program offers the opportunity to receive education in the fields of interest with its elective courses. Education and training in the program include theoretical and practical lessons, project and laboratory studies, technical visiting programs, field studies, professional development activities and professional practices.
Within the scope of the professional practices course, our students take part in the profession by working part-time in the tourism sector on certain days of the week, depending on their preferences. The curriculum of the Tourism and Hotel Management Program is controlled and revised when necessary, in line with the suggestions of the members of the “Advisory Board” created with the support of the leading names of the sector.
